Appropriate use of barrier-free equipment

For the appropriate use of barrier-free equipment

Barrier-free equipment is installed so that people with disabilities and the elderly can use the facility with ease. Understand the fact that there are people that rely on such equipment and handle it with compassion.

● People who use wheelchairs or ostomates need to use compatible toilets. Please be considerate to such people if you can use generic toilets.

● When the equipment is not put back in place after use, the next person cannot use it or it may lead to malfunction. Handle the equipment with care as it is used by all sorts of people.

● There are cases where people with disabilities cannot park the car as the parking spaces for the disabled are occupied by cars of those without disabilities. Wheelchair users require an open space for them to get on and off the car, which is not sufficient if they park at places other than dedicated parking spaces. Use the parking spaces properly.
