若手芸術家の創作活動及び展示・発表の場
創作活動を行うアーティストに開放し、活用していただくスペースです。制作から発表まで一貫してこの場で行うことができ、制作現場を一般に公開するオープン・スタジオとしての機能も備えています。

Studio practice and Exhibition space for emerging artists. The residence room is provided to the artists for their creative activities, right from the production of the works through to the exhibition of the finished artworks. It also acts as the Open Studio space where the public can view the artist’s creative process.

身近な美術鑑賞の機会の場、美術作品の展示・発表の場
藤沢市アートスペースが企画する展覧会を中心に行うスペースです。展示ルーム１と展示ルーム２は、つなげて使用することもできます。

The Exhibition rooms are for making art accessible, and to exhibit and promote artworks. These spaces are mainly used for exhibition programs organized by FAS. The room 1 and 2 can also be joined together as one big space.

美術学習の場
専門家によるワークショップやアートに関わる講座などを行います。

Space for artistic learning. We hold creative workshops and art lectures by the professional practitioners.

FASが主催及び共催事業で使用していない期間、展示ルーム、レジデンスルームをレンタルスペースとしてご使用いただけます。申し込みの上、抽選により使用者を決定します。

2015年10月の藤沢市アートスペースオープンに向けて、全国から愛称を募集したところ、総数636件ものご応募をいただき、選考の結果「FAS（エファース）」に決定しました。藤沢の「F」、アートの「A」、スペースの「S」の各頭文字を基にして、それぞれを組み合わせたうえで発音しやすく読みをつなげています。親しみやすくワクワク感のある愛称となりました。

Upon the opening of Fujisawa City Art Space in October 2015, we held a national call out for its nickna me, and received 636 submissions. After careful considerations, the name “FAS” was selected, which is an acronym of Fujisawa city Art Space. It is pronounced ( èfərs ) for easy pronunciation.

愛称「FAS（エファース）」の「F」「A」「S」を図案化し組み合わせたもので、これらの図形は、FASの3つのスペース「レジデンスルーム」「展示ルーム」「ワークショップルーム」をそれぞれ象徴しています。また、文字間の余白（カウンタースペース）に同じロゴが重なる構造になっており、このもう一つのロゴマークは「市民」「アーティスト」「アート」を象徴します。これら象徴するもの同士が、連携・交流し合うスペース＝「藤沢市アートスペース」を表しています。このロゴ・ロゴタイプのデザインは、藤沢市内在住のデザイナー塚本元氏によるものです。

Our logo type is the combination of the designed letters F, A, S of our nickname FAS, each shape of the letters representing the 3 spaces of FAS, the Residence room, the Exhibition room, and the Workshop room.The same logo is duplicated in the counter space between the letters, a nd this another logo represents the Citizens, the Artists, a nd the Art. The whole design expresses Fujisawa City Art Space as a place where all these represented above can interact a nd  collaborate with each other. It was designed by a Fujisawa citizen designer, Mr. Hajime Tsukamoto.

・駐輪場　有り（利用の際はココテラス湘南ビルの1階管理室まで）
