About the Reminder Notice for Unpaid Taxes

If you receive a letter titled "督促状" or "市税残額確認のご案内", that means we are unable to confirm the payment of your city taxes until the payment due date. Please pay the taxes by the deadline on the notice letter.

If there is a reason you cannot pay by the deadline, please contact us and explain your situation at the city hall with documents proving your assets and income and expenditure. If not, we'll take administrative action to claim the payment. 

* Confirmation of payment requires time. If you've already made your payments, please ignore the letter.

How to Make Tax Payment

The following ways are available.

• Payment in cash with a payment slip at convenience stores (up to \300,000 per slip)[recommended], Fujisawa city hall (including branch offices), banks or post offices. 
• Payment using cashless payment services like PayPay via smartphone (The maximum payment amount varies depending on cashless payment service.)
  Scan the QR code with the smartphone payment app and pay.
  *If you use LINE Pay, please scan the barcode (not QR) and pay.
• Payment by Internet banking or credit card on the local tax payment (eLTAX) website. (Only in Japanese)
  *If you pay by credit card, there will be a handling fee.
• Payment by direct debit automatically
  This is a service that automatically transfers money from your bank account per payment deadline. You can apply from the web or banks.

About Delinquent Charge

When your payment is late, you will need to pay a late charge in addition to your taxes. In that case, you will receive a delinquent notice at a later date.
